$1.5 Trillion Climate Change Industrial Complex

Fig. 1 is an example of useless, often taxpayer-funded research. To quote, "It is not clear why temperature shifts correlated with more heart attacks." The reason is that there is no connection other than the drumbeat of constant scare-mongering on climate change.

Climate change is why cats have three kittens instead of four sometimes. Climate change is why tires go flat. Pay everyone's tow bill. Better yet, give a government grant to study how climate change causes flat tires and affects kitten birth rates.

Anything, no matter how silly, is legitimate if it pushes the human anthropogenic climate change paradigm.

It is about the money. It is about the distribution of money. It is about the reasons for the redistribution of money. Where there is government money, there will be Grifters.

To quote,

The plaintive calls about global warming and loss of polar bear habitats, the stern warnings about rising seas and flooded coastlines - this is what the public hears about. Then there's this pesky, inconvenient truth they don't hear about: $1.5 trillion.

"Interest in climate change is becoming an increasingly powerful economic driver, so much so that some see it as an industry in itself whose growth is driven in large part by policymaking," notes Don Jergler, an analyst for Insurance Journal, an industry publication. ... And the talkers, creatives and handlers too. "That also includes the climate change consulting market, which a recent report by the journal estimates at $1.9 billion worldwide and $890 million in the U.S...".

(Note that polar bears are not endangered other than over hunting. They live on land like other bears. Some estimates place their population as high as 30,000 plus.)

What do climate experts say about climate change?

Climate change policy is about how we redistribute de facto the world’s wealth. - Ottmar Edenhofer

In his farewell address, President Eisenhower warned of the "military-industrial complex" and the capture of government by the unelected scientific elite.

The environmental-industrial complex has fulfilled this nightmare. Ecology has become a social science. Climate justice, like social justice, is more Marxism.

Consider the following news report from Fox News,

"The U.S. Department of Labor on Monday announced the availability of $4 million in federal taxpayer dollars to be released through its Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) 'to fund a technical assistance project in Nepal to increase the responsiveness of local communities to child labor and/or forced labor in the context of a changing climate.'"

Everything is wrong with this. It will not prevent a single child from being trafficked. It does not address technical issues we know will work to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. The money pays the salaries of government paper pushers, politically connected NGOs, and corrupt government officials in Nepal.

This money will produce nothing of measurable value to taxpayers or trafficked kids. So-called "climate change" was the excuse to waste $4 million.

What about this report from CNN News 2-18-2022:

"President Joe Biden pledged during his first days in office that 40% of federal funds for climate and clean energy initiatives would be prioritized for underserved communities (meaning race) – a key pillar of his environmental justice agenda. ... But it notably leaves out race as a factor to determine whether a community is eligible for the initiative..."

This waste is just more Marxism based on race. In Southwest Virginia, economic developers and government hacks wasted $100s of millions in government grants in the name of climate change and green energy.

Politicians, contractors, consultants, and other Grifters pocketed millions while we got a few hiking trails and empty shell buildings. Ditto on the thousands of new jobs promised.

How about this from the far-left Center for American Progress on June 22, 2021:

"Implementing Biden's Justice40 Commitment To Combat Environmental Racism To maximize the near-term benefits of climate and clean energy investments delivered to disadvantaged communities..."

"Environmental racism" does not exist. Does this mean the several million whites living in coal towns across Appalachia are victims of racism?

The New York Times Feb 15, 2022 notes that to hide the racist motives of Mr. Biden,

"To step away from race, the Biden administration intends to identify towns and neighborhoods that need environmental help based on dozens of data points like household income, unemployment..."

It is not just the race Grifters lining up to pilfer public funds; the billionaires want their share.

Climate grifter John Kerry testified that we must remove present carbon dioxide from the atmosphere or else. Not only could he not give a firm number for the right amount of CO2, he said it is "constantly changing."

This "carbon capture" scam would involve a massively complex energy and resource-intensive industrial infrastructure, but the cost would bankrupt the global economy.

In one press report, "This Top Warren Buffett Stock Is Making a $1.1 Billion Bet to Capture a Potentially Massive Opportunity (and Maybe Save the Planet in the Process)." How much in government subsidies will this cost? Or use government regulation (force) to get people to use this?

There is a report on Bill Gates and Warren Buffett in 2021 on small nuclear reactors, but little has come of it. Nuclear is a natural solution, but why are we wasting years reinventing the wheel?

Proven reactor designs are already available from Canada, France, and Russia. The Canadian CANDU reactor uses uranium, thorium, spent fuel rods from present reactors, and even surplus nuclear bomb material. One can reuse the 79,100 tons of spent fuel rods in storage at nuclear power plants. They discard thousands of tons of thorium as waste in rare earth refining industries.

To quote, "Rare earth minerals are processed primarily from ores and minerals that also naturally contain uranium and thorium. Processing rare earth minerals involves separating and removing uranium and thorium..." Both are common in nature and do not pose any more threat than nickel or other metal mining and processing.

Social justice (or environmental justice) is a cover for Marxism. To quote,

CRITICAL THEORY is rooted in Marxism, and SOCIAL JUSTICE, as social justice warrior Joan Alway admits above, is application of Critical Theory "affecting revolutionary social change." That revolution may be labeled liberation, cultural transformation, or Christian Social Justice, but it begins with Progressives "deconstructing" traditional Western values and culture by redistributing wealth and power. Traditional Marxist's tried and failed to accomplish redistribution by establishing class equality. Twenty-first century Progressives are attempting to accomplish it by establishing "identity" equality: sexual, gender, racial equality. These Progressive efforts are evident everywhere in American culture.

From Encyclopedia Britannica on Postmodernism:

Postmodernism, also spelled post-modernism, in Western philosophy, a late 20th-century movement characterized by broad skepticism, subjectivism, or relativism; a general suspicion of reason; and an acute sensitivity to the role of ideology in asserting and maintaining political and economic power.
